A category for the ones who want to experience the Runfire Cappadocia in a 20 km long exclusive course, to savor the moment of Start with all the competitors together. Looking for a matchless weekend experience? There you go!

When?

July 23rd-24th, 2016 (Saturday-Sunday)

How?

RFC 20K competitors run only a 20 km long course in a single stage.

All the competitors check in the Love Valley camping area and register on July 23rd, Saturday. After having a barbecue party in the evening and a conversation around campfire; the competitors are given a briefing about the race and then spend their night in traditional Turkish tents.

Race starts in July 24th, Sunday morning, together with the RFC Ultra Marathon and Discovery 6G competitors. RFC 20K starts from Güvercinlik Valley and ends at the finish line of 20 km long course, followed by a transfer to the camping area. Duration of the course is 5 hours.

Award ceremony takes places at 15:00 after having a lunch and rest in the camping area.

Competitors are transported to Nevsehir Airport and bus terminal at 16:00 (Duration of the transfer from camping area to Nevsehir takes 1 hour at max. - : You are advised to schedule your return trip taking the transfer time into consideration.)

RFC 20K Mandatory Equipment List as follows:
• Mobile Phone
• Whistle
• Water Container (Min 1 Lt.)
• Small backpack or waist bag to carry the mandatory equipments.
• Sleeping bag
• Mat

RFC 20K competitors do not carry other equipment such as sleeping bags, mats and food with them during the race. Only mandatory equipment for safety reasons must be carried in a small backpack or a waist pack suitable for running.

Drinking water is provided by the race organizers.

Participants of RFC 20K are NOT asked to present a health report and EKG.

RFC 20K competitors will check in the camping area in July 23rd, 2016, Saturday.

Ultra Marathon

A challenging run towards fire!

A great challenge that takes 6 days in 6 stages spanning approximately 260 km of difficult course where the competitors have to make personal strategies, push their physical and mental capacities as well as carrying all their equipment and belongings in their backpacks with them all through the race.

When?

July 23rd – July 31st, 2016

How?

The total of 6 stages spanning a 260 km. is completed.

Daily 25 -40 km is completed. Long stage will take place on the day indicated in the race program. The race takes 7 days in total including the 32 hours of long stage

The competitors carry the mandatory equipment listed by the race organizers in their backpacks throughout the race.

Each competitor brings his/her own food and carries in her/his backpack throughout the race. (It is advised to take enough food for 7 days and equal of 2500 calories per day.)

All equipment except water must constantly be carried in the backpacks.

Drinking water and hot water for preparing food will be provided for the competitors

Enough water will be provided in the camp area and on the course at intervals by the race organizers.

Competitors camp at the camping areas for 8 days total together with the registration and controls one day before the race.

Discovery 6D

A matchless experience for 6 days!

This is the category for you if you don't feel that you're ready for an ultra-marathon yet you want to experience this challenge from the start to finish! 15-20 km. stages and sustenance by the event organizers, Discovery 6D is your answer.

When?

July 23rd - July 31st 2016

How?

Runfire Cappadocia Discovery 6D is run individually.

The race comprises 6 stages spanning approximately 120 km.

Daily 15 – 20 km. is completed. Long stage will take place on the day indicated in the race program. The total race is 7 days with the off day after the long stage.

Competitors camp in the same camping area with Runfire Cappadocia Ultra Marathon competitors.

Competitors in the Discovery 6D category check in the camp site on July 23rd, 2016, Saturday. After mandatory equipment/backpack check, delivery of the race kits and briefing, dinner and camping will be at the camping area. The race finishes on July 30th, 2016, Saturday. Award ceremony, dinner and camping will be at the camping area. Competitors leave the camp area in July 31st, 2016 at 07:00 Sunday morning, using the transfer shuttles. Competitors complete 15-20 km. daily.

Discovery 6D competitors bring only the mandatory equipment listed by the race organizors with them.

Food is provided by the race organizors. Breakfast and dinner is served in the camping area. Provisions are delivered for lunch. (Energy bars, personal drinks and/or snacks are allowed for Discovery 6D competitors.)

Discovery 6D competitors do not carry other equipment such as sleeping bags, mats and food with them during the race. Only mandotory equipment for safety reasons must be carried in a small backpack or a waist pack suitable for running.

The personal belongings of the competitors are transferred every day to new camping areas by the staff.

Discovery 4D

RFC Toughest 1 Day / Lake Tuz

A non-stop, matchless challenge!

A brand new category for those who want to pack this unique and challenging ultra-marathon adventure in Cappadocia to just one stage! If you say "I don't have time and I like challenge", then this 104 km. single long stage is for you.

When?

27th - 30th, July 2016

How?

Competitors in Runfire Cappadocia Toughest 1 Day category run an approximately 104 km. single ultra marathon. This course is at the same time the long stage for the Ultra Marathon competitors and starts from Şereflikoçhisar and passing through the dry Lake Tuz which is unique in the world, ends at Ulukışla.

Competitors camp in the same camping area with Runfire Cappadocia Ultra Marathon and RFC Discovery competitors for 2 days.

Runfire Cappadocia Toughest 1 Day competitors do not carry other equipment such as sleeping bags, mats and food with them during the race. Only mandotory equipment for safety reasons must be carried in a small backpack or a waist pack suitable for running.

The personal belongings of the competitors are transferred to the finish point by the staff.

Runfire Cappadocia Toughest 1 Day competitors check in the camp site on July 27th, 2016, Wednesday. After mandatory equipment/backpack check, delivery of the race kits and briefing, dinner and camping will be at the camping area. The race starts on July 28th, 2016, Thursday and continues during the 32 hours of race course. The race finishes on July 29th, 2016, Friday by evening. Award ceremony, dinner and camping will be at the camping area. Competitors leave the camping area on July 30th, 2016, Saturday. Competitors are transported to Şereflikoçhisar bus terminal by race organizers.
